Harvest fishing is a game for the Nintendo DS, where you, a human child, must search for and catch a legendary golden fish. this golden fish's scales have the ability to cure your younger sister, who has been put into a magical sleep.
Along the way, you are helped by friends, both human and monster, three of thes monsters becoming your magical companions, each with a different magical ability.
Harvest Fishing released in Europe in 2009. its north american version, 'River King: Mystic Valley' and Japanese version 'Kawa no Nushi Tsuri: Komorebi no Tani, Seseragi no Uta', released in 2008 and 2007 respectively. I had this game the year it came out, which means i have been playing this game for 12 years and still have not completed it.
this fact does not change that this is my favourite game of all time depite the nightmares it gave me.
(i had a fear of fish and videogame characters being sentient as a child).
